Hello! My name is Dominic. Thank you for reading one of my first books. This book was dedicated to my childhood at elementary school when during recess and lunch, I would catch bugs for both my curiosity and dream of being an entomologist. Also being interested into marine life. There used to be a pet store at my area that would sell fish and at the time, I would buy 12 goldfish for a dollar and take care of them. Later growing up, I grew another interest of cartoons and animation. When I found out that Stephen Hillenburg, the creator of Spongebob was a former marine biologist and cartoonist, I though that it was great to have both hobbies into one. He’s my biggest inspiration to where I am now.
I studied for 4 years at Harvard EdX, the online program of Harvard University, where I took up history, Arts, Literature, and Music.
This book here is meant to be both a sharing of my nostalgia and introduction to the reader’s curiosity of life out there. I am very pleased to finally accomplish publishing a book that I’ll expand the series into something fun and adventurous based on my childhood growing up. There are ups and downs from exploring the world up there but everything is a lesson. Like that there are friendly insects and not-so friendly insects. Learning their purpose on why they’re like this. It’s all for curiosity. As the books go on, the world building and adventurous shall expand into a very fascinating and fun adventure you engage into. I hope you look forward into my next future books.
When young Lanie finds a peculiar, pinkish-white creature near the quiet village of Barcus, she thinks she has caught the ultimate prize: a fish with a smiling face. But as the days pass, her new friend “Bailey” starts changing in ways no regular fish ever could—first growing arms, then legs, and making quite the splash in her mother’s kitchen! Perfect for young readers and parents alike, this beautifully illustrated tale captures the magic of springtime, the importance of keeping your promises, and the wonder of nature’s most unique creations. Packed with an engaging storyline and a bonus “Fun Facts” section about the incredible transforming axolotl, this book is designed to spark curiosity and a love for wildlife.
